Behavioural and Developmental Paediatrics

This is a key area of passion and clinical interest for me. I particularly enjoy supporting families navigating behavioural challenges, emotional regulation, and neurodivergence in children and adolescents, including giftedness, autism, and ADHD.

I approach all children and families through the lens of the parent-child connection, with a strong focus on emotional safety, understanding behaviour, and supporting positive mental health and wellbeing for both child and parent.

I am especially passionate about supporting twice-exceptional (2E) children and adolescents: those who are both gifted and also have autism and/or ADHD.

General Paediatrics

Whilst I welcome most general referrals, my particular areas of interest lie in

  • Neurodivergence – Autism, ADHD, giftedness.
  • Understanding challenging behaviours
  • Growth and development
  • General child wellbeing
  • Parenting support

Please note that I do not accept referrals for patients with active eating disorders or who require feeding support. I am happy to refer you to other services if required.

Paediatric Infectious Diseases

I see limited non-urgent infectious diseases referrals.

I do not accept acute infectious diseases referrals and I do not offer vaccination services. Patients with acute concerns should contact their general practitioner or emergency department.

For general practitioners looking for acute infectious diseases advice for managing their patient, I recommend contacting the on-call Infectious Diseases services at either Monash Children’s or the Royal Children’s hospitals depending on the patient’s location.

Private Infectious Diseases services are also available through Cabrini Hospital in Malvern.
